Former U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Policy Joseph Yun on Thursday said North Korea would likely have been “surprised” by the President Trump’s quick acceptance of a summit proposal.

In his first public interview since his decision in February to step down, Yun said Pyongyang would most likely be “scrambling” to prepare for the summit.
