North Korea has met conditions for preliminary talks with U.S.: Moon

ROK President warns against “hasty optimism” about recent dialogue in Pyongyang, however

South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Wednesday said Seoul believes that Pyongyang has met U.S. conditions for preliminary talks, in comments made during meetings with the leaders of South Korea's five major political parties.

The talks saw the President warn against “hasty optimism” over recent DPRK statements on denuclearization, while stressing that their significance should not be understated.
