U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday said Kim Jong Un had made a “wise and well reasoned decision” to postpone an alleged plan to launch missiles at the U.S. territory of Guam.

In a tweet on Wednesday morning, Washington DC time, the President suggested that the North Korean leader had avoided war with the U.S.

“Kim Jong Un of North Korea made a very wise and well reasoned decision,” Trump said. “The alternative would have been both catastrophic and unacceptable!”
