North Korean researchers and companies are working on developing their own wind turbines to generate electricity, according to recent videos from Korean Central Television (KCTV).

So far this week North Korean state television has broadcast two segments featuring wind power generating equipment at various stages of production.

The news follows a recent similar focus on domestically produced solar power, which also showed DPRK personnel at work in solar panel research and development facilities.
