Renovations to a factory in Pyongyang include the addition of a large solar panel array on the roof, footage from North Korea’s foreign news service Uriminzokkiri shows.

In the video, an additional building is being added to the Ryuwon Shoe Factory and appears ready to be fitted with a large number of solar panels.

“(With) the help of the National Academy of Science, the factory is to be intensively constructed with the solar panels on the roof,” the narrator says.
