News South Korean navy receives new ASW helicoptersAnti-submarine warfare capability critical to counter North Korean sub threat
 The South Korea Navy received its first four Wildcat ASW helicopters on Monday, South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency reported. The Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy took delivery of four AW159 Wildcat helicopters from British-Italian manufacturer AgustaWestland, with four more expected by the end of 2016. The ROK Navy selected the AW159 over Sikorsky Aircraft Corp’s MH-60R Seahawk in 2013. Delivery was delayed until this year due to a bribery scandal involving South Korean military officials.
