Kim Jong Un announced North Korea will engage in a 200-day “battle” to boost its national economy, the state-owned newspaper Rodong Sinmun reported Monday. While North Korean media did not specify when the battle would begin, Seoul said it is to start sometime in June and last until December,the Ministry of Unification (MoU) said during its Monday press briefing. “Kim Jong Un said the country will be engaging in the honorable 200-day battle period, which will work as the breakthrough towards the five-year economic growth strategy, the plan that was presented during the Seventh Congress,” the Monday edition of Rodong Sinmun © Korea Risk Group.
