South’s Ministry of National Defense (MND) said Friday that China has expressed intent to participate in the United Nations Security Council’s sanctions against North Korea.

China’s agreement reportedly took place in a working-level defense policy meeting with South Korea.

“During the meeting held in Seoul, the Chinese Defense Ministry said North Korea’s fourth nuclear test violated UN Security Council resolutions and the September 19 joint statement, so they also offered their opinion that they will to participate in the resolution on North Korea,” the MND told NK News.
