The UN Secretary General’s press office on Tuesday (New York time) denied that Ban Ki-moon will go to Pyongyang, just hours after a report said that Ban would visit.

The report by the China’s Xinhua News Agency said Ban would visit Pyongyang for four days starting Monday, quoting a North Korean official from the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA).

The KCNA official told Xinhua that Ban would arrive in Pyongyang by plane, landing at Sunan International Airport, the newly built airport near Pyongyang.
