Historian at joint-Korea excavation makes policy proposals

Expert says legal measures, organization to advance excavation required for future cooperation

Historians from the two Koreas gathered on Thursday at the site of the Koryo Dynasty's royal palace Manwoldae, where an excavation project, underway since 2007, resumed in June.

At the discussion, a South Korean historian proposed a legal measure and the establishment of a center to prepare the project’s future tasks on a stage-by-stage basis and increase cooperation.
