Media experts suggest inter-Korean cooperation

Non-political productions may be venue for dialogue, though participants’ ideas vary

Media production remains an avenue for inter-Korean cooperation, a group of experts suggested on Tuesday.

The media experts gathered in Seoul at an event organized by the Korea Information Society Development Institute to discuss the future of inter-Korean cooperation in formats such as TV dramas, entertainment programs and production training, on Tuesday.

All of the speakers agreed that media could facilitate the recovery of cultural commonality, but suggested different opinions as to who will lead the cooperation.
