News N. Korea’s annual CPC greetings continue to shrinkExperts note expanding trade, say Pyongyang has skipped greetings in years of previous tension
North Korea’s leader on Wednesday sent his annual greeting to the Communist Party of China on the occasion of the CPC’s 66th anniversary, a letter that seems to be getting shorter by the year. The letter cannot currently be found on the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) website – nor can past letters to China – but may be found on KCNA Watch. “The message extended congratulations to (President) Xi Jinping, (Premier) Li Keqiang and (Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress) Zhang Dejiang and, through them, to the Communist Party and the government of China © Korea Risk Group.
