The inter-Korean Kaesong Industrial Complex is seeking quality certification for its facilities in the hopes of acquiring more foreign investment.

Kaesong’s management committee is seeking the certification from the International Organization for Standardization for its bus operating system, the South Korean Ministry of Unification said.

The complex’s bus operator, which transports the facility’s workers to and from the facility, intends for its scheduling, maintenance and material management to match the international organization’s standards, the Yonhap News Agency reported. Furthermore, it will seek environmental management certification for its water purification and drainage systems.
