SEOUL – South Korea on Friday set a date for the two Koreas to recommence talks to reunite families divided during the Korean War.

Yonhap News reported that the Korea National Red Cross today sent a message to the North asking that talks commence on the 23rd of August, in the border village of Panmunjom.

An unnamed Unification ministry official told Yonhap that the talks were intended to take place “at the Peace House in the South Korean part of Panmunjom” at 11.40 am.
