Kim Ji Yong, the chief editor of the Choson Sinbo, has resumed writing bylined opinion columns rebutting Washington, Tokyo and Seoul after a roughly two-year silence, most recently attacking the international community’s calls for denuclearization in an article Aug. 5. The Choson Sinbo is a Tokyo-based outlet run by the pro-North General Association of Korean Residents (Chongryon) and affiliated with Pyongyang’s ruling party.
