Kim Jong Un’s influential sister Kim Yo Jong has seemingly denied U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that he is in contact with the North Korean leader, dismissing the possibility of renewed engagement with Washington.

In a statement released Wednesday night through the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim Yo Jong said she knows “absolutely nothing” about the supposed communication between the two leaders.

“Perhaps it is the only matter I do not know about in relation to our supreme leadership’s foreign policy,” she said.

Kim Yo Jong’s statement comes less than three days after Trump hailedhis “very good
