A suspected North Korean child was found dead on a South Korean island close to the inter-Korean maritime border last month, a spokesperson for the Incheon coast guard told NK News on Monday.

The coast guard received a report of a “mannequin or a baby” floating off Jumun Island’s coast at around noon on July 25, the spokesperson told NK News.
