Russian tourists get first look at North Korean war museum, NATO battle trophies

The mid-June visit took place months after Pyongyang opened the Ukraine war memorial for some 2.3K DPRK fatalities

North Korea recently granted Russian tourists exclusive access to its new Ukraine war museum interring the remains of thousands of DPRK soldiers alongside destroyed Western military vehicles and weapons, according to a Swedish tour operator.

The Russians were the first foreign tourists permitted to tour the entirety of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats for Overseas Military Operations since it opened in Pyongyang in April, including its indoor and outdoor pavilions.
