A Russian agricultural giant is planning to ship tons of meat to North Korea, records show, as Russian firms traveled to Pyongyang for talks with DPRK mining and machinery manufacturing enterprises amid burgeoning commercial links between the two states. Rusagro, one of Russia’s largest agricultural firms based in Belgorod, sought a logistics provider to transport 25 tons of frozen pork in a 40-foot container to North Korea in June-July this year, according to market assessment documents published on a procurement platform in May.
