A North Korean expert working for UNESCO is scheduled to make a rare, virtual appearance at a South Korean peace forum later this month.

Chang Gwang Chol, UNESCO headquarters’ chief of education policy and a former official in North Korea’s education ministry, will take part in the three-day Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity starting June 24, a forum organizer told NK News on Monday.
