The leaders of the U.S. and China have agreed to jointly work toward the denuclearization of North Korea, according to the White House, following President Donald Trump’s recent visit to Beijing.

“President [Donald] Trump and President Xi [Jinping] confirmed their shared goal to denuclearize North Korea,” the White House said Sunday in a fact sheet after Trump returned from his two-day trip to China.
