South Korean prosecutors are set to investigate Unification Minister Chung Dong-young over allegations that he disclosed confidential information about a suspected North Korean nuclear site.

“The complaint filed against [Chung] was transferred to us from the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office,” a spokesperson for the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office told NK News on Friday.

The complaint was transferred to the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office, as it oversees cases that occur at the National Assembly, according to ROK media.

The criminal complaint accuses the minister of leaking official secrets, the spokesperson said, without revealing who filed the complaint.
