North Korea fired “multiple” suspected ballistic missiles on Sunday morning, according to South Korean and Japanese authorities, the fourth such launch this month.

South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) announced around 6:19 a.m. KST that North Korea had fired a ballistic missile in an eastward direction.

The ROK military subsequently said North Korea launched “multiple” short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs) from the Sinpho area on the east coast around 6:10 a.m. KST.
