A video has emerged of a Russian businessman berating low-performing employees and urging them to learn discipline from North Korean colleagues, highlighting the risk of labor tensions over the growing number of DPRK workers in the country.

In the video first reported by the Russian outlet Ostorozhno, Novosti, Alexander Rudakov, the founder of the Lipetsk-based Eco-Culture agricultural group, explained that the presence of “new faces” from the DPRK at the company’s facilities was part of an initiative for “effective management solutions.”

He described the workers not as migrant laborers but as “women with strong character and difficult lives” who
