The Russian Embassy in South Korea has hung a pro-war banner outside its building in Seoul, leading the ROK government to demand its removal in line with its opposition to the Ukraine war and Moscow’s military cooperation with North Korea. The 15-meter-long banner on display for nearly two weeks has drawn attention with its slogan “Victory will be ours,” a phrase ostensibly tied to the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion this month.
