North Korea could negotiate with US if conditions are met: Seoul’s spy agency

NIS also reports Kim Jong Un’s daughter may be giving policy input, reiterating claim that she is the ruler in waiting

North Korea could engage in talks with the U.S. if “conditions are met,” Seoul’s intelligence agency assessed Thursday, noting that Pyongyang has refrained from criticizing President Donald Trump.  

The National Intelligence Service (NIS) told South Korean lawmakers on Thursday that the DPRK has not ruled out dialogue with Washington, despite voicing complaints over the deployment of U.S. strategic assets near the Korean Peninsula.

“They are leaving room for maneuver by refraining from slandering President Trump and by not conducting intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) test launches,” Park Sun-won, a member of the National Assembly’s intelligence committee, told reportersafter the NIS
