News Belarus shipped tons of meat to North Korea with help of Polish firm: ReportDPRK allegedly sent auto parts to Belarusian manufacturer of missile launchers as well, underscoring growing trade ties
Belarus shipped several tons of meat products to North Korea with the help of a Polish firm late last year, according to a new report, while Pyongyang supplied automotive parts to a Belarusian truck manufacturer that also produces missile launchers. The independent Belarusian media project Zerkalo reported that the shipment worth “hundreds of thousands of dollars” took place in December and included “blocks of beef, chicken legs, canned meat and offal.” The meat, weighing dozens of tons, originated from different Belarusian enterprises and was loaded onto several railcars for shipping, according to the outlet, citing documents provided by unnamed sources. © Korea Risk Group.
