The Chinese Embassy in North Korea has promoted its reception of a letter via an overland postal connecting the border cities of Dandong and Sinuiju, following the resumption of regular mail exchanges after years of disruption.
The Pyongyang-based embassy released photos last week of a stamped envelope sent by a Shanghai resident, which reportedly reached North Korea in approximately 20 days.
The letter in the envelope congratulated both governments on restoring the postal service and voiced support for “China-DPRK friendship,” according to an embassy announcement.
