North Korea is expected to stage a large-scale nighttime military parade late Friday to mark the 80th anniversary of the ruling party’s foundation, Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) has assessed.

In a briefing with local media, a JCS official said that the North appears to be conducting final rehearsals involving military equipment and missiles.
