North Korean leader Kim Jong Un paid respects to Chinese veterans of the Korean War at a cemetery north of Pyongyang on Friday, spearheading 75th anniversary celebrations of China’s entry into the conflict. According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim visited the Cemetery of the Fallen Soldiers of the Chinese People’s Volunteers (CPV) and paid “high tribute” to the Chinese soldiers buried there. Top ruling party officials Jo Yong Won, Pak Jong Chon and Kim Tok Hun, as well as foreign minister Choe Son Hui, joined the DPRK leader at the cemetery. Kim also visited the © Korea Risk Group.
