Kim Seong-min, a North Korean defector and human rights activist who dedicated much of his life to delivering information about the outside world to people in the DPRK, passed away last week at the age of 62.

As the founder of the Free North Korea Radio (FNK), a Seoul-based shortwave radio service, Kim spent over 20 years broadcasting news and Christian messaging across the border.
