North Korean leader Kim Jong Un invited Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to visit the DPRK during a conversation before the start of China’s major military parade in Beijing on Wednesday.

The face-to-face took place on the sidelines of China’s celebrations for the 80th anniversary of its victory over Japan, according to the Telegram channel Pul Pervogo (Pool of the First) linked to Lukashenko’s administration. 

Belarus’ state-run Belta News Agency also shared the post on Telegram.

Kim reportedly invited Lukashenko to visit North Korea “at any convenient time,” according to the post, with the Telegram channel sharing several images of the
