North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected another hospital under construction as part of his nationwide rural development push, according to the DPRK’s news agency, calling on the military to play a central role in the “fight against the backwardness of the regional areas.”

However, domestic media made no mention of the visit to the pilot project in Ryonggang Country, an unusual omission that suggests construction may not have progressed as much as in other regions.
