The Il-62M (RA-86559) operated by the Russian Air Force landed in Pyongyang around 12:46 p.m. KST, according to the aviation tracking website Flightradar24. Russian air force jet lands in North Korea, a day after FM Lavrov’s departure

A Russian air force jet touched down in the North Korean capital on Monday, aviation data showed, a day after Moscow’s top diplomat left the country following talks with leader Kim Jong Un.

The Il-62M (RA-86559) operated by the Russian Air Force landed in Pyongyang around 12:46 p.m. KST, according to the aviation tracking website Flightradar24.

The plane appears to have departed from Moscow’s Zhukovsky Airport early Monday KST, stopping in Vladivostok around 10 a.m. before leaving for North Korea at 11:45 a.m.
