North Korea’s biggest summer camp welcomed over 100 Russian schoolchildren this week, less than a month after the opening of the Wonsam Kalma mega-resort next door. The Songdowon International Children’s Summer Camp held its official opening ceremony on Tuesday, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported the following day, releasing images of Russian and DPRK kids participating in a procession to kick off the new camp season. Russian children from all over the country, including Moscow and Far Eastern regions, departed for the camp on Monday, according to the Primorsky Krai government.
