North Korean IT workers are expanding their global operations beyond securing jobs at U.S. companies, with particular focus on infiltrating European governments and stealing data from security organizations, according to a new Google report.

The Google Threat Intelligence Group reported on Friday that DPRK IT professionals are increasingly seeking remote jobs across several countries in Europe and Asia, as increased public reporting, indictments and visa challenges are making it difficult to secure and maintain such roles in the U.S.
