Ukraine has killed all North Korean troops fighting in Russia’s Kursk region, Volodymyr Zelensky said in Munich on Saturday after flagging that Pyongyang is set to send reinforcements to aid Russia’s campaign.

In his speech at the Munich Security Conference, the Ukrainian president claimed Russia had lost 20,000 soldiers in the Kursk region alone, with the total death toll standing at nearly 250,000 since the start of the invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
