The film titled “72 Hours” ran in two parts on Korean Central Television (KCTV) on Thursday and Friday, following its premiere in local theaters in Feb. 2024. North Korean state television aired a new film about the early days of the Korean War to ring in 2025, presenting a distorted historical account of close ties with Moscow that appears aimed at promoting the DPRK’s current military partnership with Russia.
