U.S. President Donald Trump has said he will reach out to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un again in his second term, some five years after the breakdown of nuclear talks.

Asked by Fox News interviewer Sean Hannity if he will reach out to Kim again, Trump responded in the affirmative.

“I will. He liked me and I got along with him,” he said, speaking in the Oval Office.

His comments followed questions about the nuclear threat from Iran, with Trump characterizing Tehran as a different category of threat from North Korea because they are “religious zealots.”
