The total trade volume hit nearly $220.5 million last month, continuing a growth trajectory since July and surpassing the previous high of $218.8 million recorded in October, according to data from China’s General Administration of Customs (GAC). However, the figure still lagged behind the $224.3 million recorded in Nov. 2023 and the $279.3 million hit in Nov. 2019, as commercial exchanges remain depressed compared to pre-pandemic levels. North Korea’s trade with China rose to the highest level this year in November on the back of a jump in exports.

The total trade volume hit nearly $220.5 million last month, continuing a growth trajectory since July and surpassing the previous high of $218.8 million recorded in October, according to data from China’s General Administration of Customs (GAC).

However, the figure still lagged behind the $224.3 million recorded in Nov. 2023 and the $279.3 million hit in Nov. 2019, as commercial exchanges remain depressed compared to pre-pandemic levels.
