North Korea could send up to 100K troops to Russia, Zelensky warns

Ukrainian leader’s remarks follow report on possible large-scale deployment, though expert calls this improbable

North Korea could send as many as 100,000 troops to support Russia’s war efforts, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, though one expert described this as “improbable” given the toll such a deployment would take on Pyongyang’s own security.

Addressing the European Parliament on Tuesday, Zelensky emphasized the growing importance of Pyongyang’s support of Moscow.
