North Korea appears to rebrand unification institute to focus on ‘enemy’ ROK

Institute of Enemy State Studies aligns with Kim Jong Un’s decision to frame South Korea as hostile foreign state

North Korea has revealed the existence of a new anti-South Korea institute focused on “enemy state studies,” in what appears to be a rebranding of an organization that used to focus on inter-Korean unification.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) released a white paper on Sunday by the DPRK Institute of Enemy State Studies, slamming South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol for allegedly sending drones to North Korea to distract from his own political crises.
