Newly made North Korean missile used in Russian strike on Ukraine: Report

Expert says appearance of missile manufactured this year shows DPRK’s willingness to deliver weapons to Moscow on demand

Russia has used a North Korean ballistic missile manufactured as recently as this year in its continuing strikes on Ukraine, according to a new report, a finding that one expert said suggests Pyongyang is churning out missiles on demand for the Kremlin’s war effort.

Investigators from the U.K.-based Conflict Armament Research (CAR) found that among four North Korean missiles that hit targets in Ukraine between July 30 and Aug. 18, at least one was produced as early as this year.
