South Korea has redeployed propaganda loudspeakers and will resume normal military operations near the inter-Korean border after suspending a landmark military agreement with North Korea on Tuesday.
President Yoon Suk-yeol formally suspended the Comprehensive Military Agreement (CMA) in its entirety earlier in the day, and the defense ministry announced that the suspension allows for the resumption of military operations along the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and near ROK border islands in the Yellow Sea (West Sea).
