The high-ranking official had been undergoing treatment for kidney failure, the party-run Rodong Sinmun reported. Leader Kim Jong Un visited his bier at 2 a.m. Wednesday along with senior officials Kim Tok Hun, Jo Yong Won, Choe Ryong Hae and Ri Pyong Chol, according to state media. Kim Ki Nam, propaganda chief for all three North Korean rulers, dies at 94

Kim Ki Nam, North Korea’s chief propagandist for three generations of Kim family rulers and the architect of official state narratives around two leadership successions, died on Tuesday at the age of 94, according to state media.

The high-ranking official had been undergoing treatment for kidney failure, the party-run Rodong Sinmun reported.

Leader Kim Jong Un visited his bier at 2 a.m. Wednesday along with senior officials Kim Tok Hun, Jo Yong Won, Choe Ryong Hae and Ri Pyong Chol, according to state media.
