Second Russian travel agency joins rush to take tourists to North Korea

Plans for trips in early June come as DPRK pushes to boost tourism from Russia, while shutting out other countries

A Moscow-based travel company is offering new tours to North Korea in partnership with DPRK authorities, the agency told NK News, setting it up to be the second Russian company to take travelers to the country this year.

Ellina Aidinidu, executive director of the Project Pyongyang agency, said on Wednesday that the company has received accreditation from DPRK authorities and plans to take its first groups of tourists to North Korea on June 6 and 11.
