The U.K. is engaged in talks with North Korea about sending a team to inspect its embassy in Pyongyang after four years of closure, British officials told NK News, in what could lay the groundwork for its diplomats to return to the capital.

“We are in discussions with the DPRK government through its embassy in London about arrangements for a visit soon by a U.K. technical-diplomatic team,” a Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) spokesperson told NK News.
