A Seoul court sentenced a South Korean pastor to five years in prison on Wednesday for molesting five North Korean defector students who attended his private boarding school, a significantly lighter sentence than the 13 years recommended by prosecutors.

Pastor Chun Ki-won was sentenced to 80 hours of treatment for perpetrators of sexual assault and will not be allowed to work with children, youth, or persons with disabilities for five years in addition to the prison sentence, according to documents from the Seoul Central District Court obtained by NK News.
