South Korean police launched search and seizure operations on a Supreme Court digital data bureau this month to confiscate servers compromised in cyberattacks by North Korea’s Lazarus Group.

The National Police Agency’s cyber terror division confirmed to NK News that they have conducted two search and seizure operations on the Supreme Court bureau in Seongnam, just outside of Seoul, since Feb. 13, and that investigations are still ongoing.

“We are following proper investigative procedures to determine when the hacking occurred, how it was perpetrated and what documents may have been leaked to the alleged group,” the division said.
