Russian foreign minister evades topic of North Korea arms trade in interview

Moscow’s top diplomat challenged Washington to back up its claims of Russia-DPRK arms trade with evidence

Russia's foreign minister repeatedly deflected questions about arms trade with North Korea in an interview on Monday, echoing Moscow's continued dismissal of Washington’s allegations that Pyongyang supplied ballistic missiles to Russia for its war against Ukraine.

“In our relations with North Korea we don’t violate any path of international law,” Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with U.S. network CBS, according to a transcript released Tuesday by Russia’s foreign ministry.
